Tasting notes
Vinification
The origin
La Parte is crafted from a blend of estate-grown indigenous grapes: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Oseleta.
In the glass, it shows an intense ruby-red color, enriched by subtle garnet reflections.
On the nose, it opens with a deep and complex bouquet: notes of ripe cherry and blackberry blend harmoniously with spicy hints of pink pepper and licorice, while fresh nuances of mint and eucalyptus bring balance and liveliness to the whole.
On the palate, it is warm, rich, and enveloping. Soft, well-integrated tannins support a full and harmonious sip that finishes long and persistent.
A wine designed to stand the test of time, capable of evolving and revealing new nuances over the years.
Recommended pairings:
- Rich meat dishes
- Game
- Aged cheeses
- Stews, braises, roasts
- Autumnal or convivial cuisine
Vinification begins with manual harvesting of the grape clusters, which are naturally dried in a fruit cellar for about three months, concentrating aromas, sugars, and structure.
After pressing, the must undergoes a long cold maceration and a slow fermentation at controlled temperature, with frequent pump-overs and délestage to ensure balanced extraction.
The wine then ages for at least six years in large French oak barrels, followed by an additional year in bottle, completing its evolution with elegance and depth.
The name La Parte is inspired by Monte La Parte, the place where our Cru is located and which we have the honor to call home, not just for us, but also for our wines.
It is here that everything begins, where we keep our history and our passion.
The rose symbol on the label carries a dual meaning: it is a tribute to grandmother Maria Rosa, who with love, dedication, and passion, started this family story.
At the same time, the shape of our Cru, seen from above, resembles the form of this flower, the perfect link between emotional roots and the physical shape of the place where it all began.
