Monte La Parte

Monte La Parte

Everything comes to life here in our land.
Excellence to fall in love with.

Our roots lie on Monte La Parte, which represent, since always, a place of hard workers.
We are sitting on a beautiful hill with a unique and exclusive soil that we have the privilege to call home.
Ten hectares of vineyards, framed by forest and olive trees, grown where tuff was extracted till the beginning of the 1900’s. A meager soil, difficult to grow, which produce outstanding grapes.

Vineyards

Vineyards

Monte La Parte represents the cradle of our vineyards, located at an altitude from 300 to 350 m above sea level.
A single vineyard, 12 hectares (30 acres) is located all over the top of the hill enjoying a full sun exposure.
The roots lie in a calcareous and tuffaceous soil, poor of organic material
A meager soil, difficult to work in which can grow superb grapes.
The high minerality in the soil gives to the wine an excellent balance and complexity. This is the most authentic portrait of our work.

Grapes

Grapes

We are personally taking care of our 12 hectares of vineyards.
We always work hard, but the nature is the real queen: everything depends on "her": times, rhythms and results.
The typical grapes varieties in Valpolicella make the flavor in our wine absolutely unique and distinctive:
- Corvina
- Corvinone
- Rondinella
- Oseleta
- Croatina
- Molinara

Tuff

Tuff

The roots in our vineyards lie directly into the tuff. This is a kind of limy and porous rock, typical of the magmatic origin soil.
Tuff makes the soil more saline and the result is much more mineral grapes, essential for the balance and the elegance of full body red wines.
